I was watching this comedian Russel Peters who's quite famous now especially in the asian, chinese - more ethnic orientated circles. Anyways, I was watching his latest comedy stand up show and he told this great story about the difference between men and women.

And it came down to this:
A woman always wants a man to be honest but when a man tells the truth it always ends up in an arguement. Here's an example:

So you and your gf are sitting next to each just chilling out...
woman: What you thinking?
man: um.. Nothing
woman: well you must be thinking something, you can't just be thinking nothing
man: er no, nothing
woman: go on, tell me, I want to know what you were thinking
man: seriously... I wasn't thinking anything
woman: I don't understand why you won't tell me, it's not like it's a big deal
*At this point, both the bf and gf are getting agitated with each other*
man: look I really wasn't thinking anything! what's wrong with you?
woman: yeh whatever, I bet you're thinking about something you don't wanna tell me, keeping secrets from me again!
*Full blown arguement erupts*

Moral of the story? Next time a woman asks what you are thinking, lie.
